We regularly evaluate the effectiveness of provision for pupils with SEND, checking that it is supporting them to make good progress and achieve well. We do this in a variety of ways, including:

  • Robust evaluation of policy and practice
  • External quality assurance
  • Book scrutinies
  • Pupil voice
  • Monitoring meetings between SENCO/SLT/Governor for SEND
  • Learning walks
  • Observations
  • Performance management of teaching staff
  • Pupil Progress Meetings
  • Parental feedback
