Primary Schools are now required to publish alongside their Performance information a list of their childcare provision making it easier for parents to know what is available.
We have a popular breakfast club running every day from 7.45am until school starts at 8.55am. Each morning includes sports coaching and a varied, healthy and filling breakfast. The menu for breakfast includes fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juice, brown toast, yogurts and beans.
We also have a number of special themed breakfast clubs throughout the year including celebrations at Christmas, Chinese New Year, St Patrick’s Day and St. George’s Day. We also invite mums in for breakfast on Mother’s Day and dads on Father’s Day.
The children who attend seem to love breakfast club. As well as a healthy start to the day it allows the children the opportunity to mix with those in other year groups.
On the last day of half term (23rd October) the breakfast club held a special celebration morning. Our school were celebrating the fact that Queen Elizabeth II is now the longest reigning monarch in the history of Great Britain. Breakfast Club celebrated this fact by enjoying a full English breakfast served by members of school staff and governors
